Return & refund policy
This policy applies to purchases made from Eurovolt (Pvt) Ltd (Reg. PV00267700), operating LOT.lk. Please read it before paying — placing an order means you accept these terms.
All sales are final
We are a components store selling electronic parts that are easily damaged by handling, static or incorrect wiring once they leave our hands. For that reason we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, ordering the wrong part, or project changes. Please check the specifications on the product page — or ask us on WhatsApp 0775252211 — before you pay.
Cancelling an unpaid order
You can cancel any order free of charge before payment is made. Unpaid orders are also released automatically: online-payment orders after 60 minutes, bank-transfer orders after 48 hours, and pay-at-pickup reservations after 48 hours.
Dead-on-arrival, wrong or transit-damaged items
If an item arrives dead-on-arrival (faulty out of the box), is not the item you ordered, or was damaged in transit, we will make it right:
- Report it within 7 days of receiving the order on WhatsApp 0775252211 or email hello@lot.lk, with your invoice number and a photo or short video showing the issue.
- We'll review the claim and may ask you to return the item to our Pannipitiya showroom or arrange collection. The item must be in its original condition, with all leads/pins intact and no signs of soldering, wiring or use.
- For a verified claim we will send a replacement of the same item. If a replacement is not available, we will refund the amount paid for that item to your original payment method (or by bank transfer), normally within 7 working days of approval.
What isn't covered
- Damage from incorrect wiring, over-voltage, reverse polarity, static discharge, soldering or physical mishandling.
- Normal wear, or failure after the item has been put into use (unless the product page states a warranty).
- Reconditioned / tested-pull items are sold as described; they are tested before dispatch and covered for dead-on-arrival only.
- Delivery fees on the original order (unless we sent the wrong item).
Where a product page states a specific warranty, that warranty applies to that product in addition to this policy.
