Privacy & terms summary

Note: this is a summary for convenience and not legal advice. We aim to handle data responsibly and in line with Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

What we collect

To process your order and keep accurate records we collect:

• Contact & delivery details — your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email and delivery address.
• Order information — the items you buy, invoice numbers, totals and order status.
• Bank-transfer slips — if you pay by bank transfer, the payment slip you upload (this is financial data) is stored securely so we can verify your payment.
• Account details — if you register, your username, email and a securely hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text).

We do not store your full card numbers. Card, LankaQR and wallet payments are handled by our payment gateway (PayHere) on their secure systems.

How we use it & your consent

By placing an order or submitting a form you consent to us using your details to fulfil and deliver your order, verify payment, issue invoices, send order updates, and respond to your enquiries. We use your data only for these purposes and do not sell it. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data — though we must retain invoices and financial records (see below) where required.

How long we keep it

• Bank-transfer slips are kept only as long as needed to verify and record the payment, then handled per our slip-retention rule.
• Invoices & order records are retained as financial records and are not hard-deleted, even if an account is closed.
• Inactive accounts — accounts inactive for more than 3 months are deactivated and the personal details anonymised, while the underlying invoices are kept.

All sales final

All sales are final and there is no refund flow. You may cancel an order before payment, but once payment is captured it is not returned. Please review your cart before paying. Prices are in LKR with no VAT (Eurovolt (Pvt) Ltd is not VAT-registered).

Faulty on arrival

While all sales are final, if an item arrives dead-on-arrival (faulty out of the box), contact us promptly on WhatsApp 0775252211 with your invoice number and a photo or short video. We'll review it and put it right. Damage from misuse, incorrect wiring or normal wear is not covered.
